长期从事利用天然高分子或合成高分子构筑功能型生物材料的研究。主要研究经历包括利用合成和天然高分子材料基于光点击反应构建水凝胶生物材料,用于细胞培养、烧伤皮肤修复和软骨再生等领域,基于点击反应的程序控制人工DNA的合成和聚合的研究,以及利用点击反应制备新型生物材料的研究等。不仅具有深厚的有机合成、光化学、高分子合成、软物质制备和表征等知识和经验,在生物医用材料、组织工程等领域也有丰富的经验,以第一作者发表了多篇高水平学术论文。
